A remarkable story. Josh Wilkins, left the comforts of home to live on the streets for six months. Feeling there was a glut of food services available, he wanted to get a sense first hand of the real issues facing homeless people, and what could really make a difference in their lives. The critical issue he found, was accomodation, somewhere safe to sleep at night. The second, was some simply somewhere safe and clean to take a shower. He also realised that what could really make a difference in someone’s life was meaningful relationships. He set about creating the mobile shower bus, which he takes out three times a week. It is stocked with hygiene products, clean socks and undies. We were so excited to be able to donate our socks to such a remarkable cause.
